BIM or Building Information Modeling is the digital representation of a physical building. Unlike 2D drawings or a 3D model, BIM incorporates information that could be used during planning, design, construction and the entire life cycle of a building. BIM is not just for Architects and Engineers- it's a great tool for building owners, contractors and facility managers.
